    All of the bed racks are 48" long for standard or short beds unless someone specifies a different length. This size allows it to fit on a pallet well and not come all the way to the back of the bed. If they go all the way back they tend to get in the way more and reaching into the bed becomes a pain. The 48" is plenty for gear or a RTT.

    You'll be ok, you haz so much lift that you'll clear all the rocks. Maybe get a little armor if you can, plenty of time.

    I had the least amount of lift out of the bunch and needed all my skids. I hadn't swapped the front coils yet and was running on 30.6" tires! lol Having it is a good idea, but you would be just fine without.

    You should go for sure, Cali convoy headed up the 15. Maybe talk Tom and some of the other guys in your area with transfer cases into going.
