If you get photos like that with the aluminum fronts I'd be curious to see how they look. That Tacoma woulda looked a lot worse without armour by the fine folks at pelfreybilt!!

 

Oh man, I always smile and laugh when someone cuts me off and then slams their brakes in road rage or something, I just start thinking I'd like to find out just how strong my Pelfrybilt bumper is, and that cute little civic you just cut me off in is going to turn into a hood ornament, reeeealll soon lol.

 

Just make sure you have a dash cam to prove they slammed on the brakes after cutting you off

One of these days I need to get an actual dash cam hard wired in and just run it on a couple hour loop through the ignition, so it's always on when I'm driving.

Well considering it's an accelrometer as the sensor, there shouldn't be any difference.

 

I went to a garage fab place one time to pick up some parts the dude was supposed to work on (Long story) had just put my new Pelfrybilt Hybrid Bumper on...the dude is checking it, trying not to drool, man those are some good looking welds...I could have totally made this for you for like half the price.

It took everything I had not to pass out from laughing so hard. I just told him to keep dreaming and he got all serious, so I had to point out thst he doesn't Tig, first of all, and that every weld of his I've ever seen looks like the tin man took a shit.

Real fabricators or rather, anyone with a little self respect can look at Pelfreybilt work and know that it is extremely high quality work. Just sayin...I still stop and stare at it every so often and marvel at how clean it is (metaphorically, not literally...literally it's very very dirty at the moment lol, as God intended)

There is even a 2 channel version so you can have a rear facing camera also. I like the motion sensor function in case someone hits you while parked or for thieves/vandals.

I like it! Does it have a non stop loop feature? so I can just leave it running nonstop and it'll just record over itself until I need to check video?

 

Yep, except when the g shock sensor detects what it thinks is a collision, then that recording is saved and tagged and does not get looped over. I think it saves 10 seconds before the shock. It will stay on the card until the user erases it.

 

Has anyone purchased a bed rack from Pelfreybilt? I'm looking for some sort of utilitarian rack system that bolts to the existing factory bed rails, a bit low profile (not to the top of the cab), will support mounting Yakima gear including their bike fork mounts/locks, Rocket box and would allow me to mount Rotopax on either side of the rack itself.
