...how often do you peg your Tacoma above 90mph?

0-75 mph is about all I care about in a 4x4 truck.

well the aFe intake is great, but the TRD intake gives you a 40hp increase

I would say the TRD intake would give you 10hp most and that is generous.

At least 7 dice at that.

I say TRD, mainly because that's what I have.

I read this URD guru thread (Gadget) wrote...basically CAI's are crappolla...but they sound great! Removing the elbow from the stock fender does the most improvement after 2nd gear compared to any CAI was what i took away from this extensive study.

Or you could just slap on a TacomaWorld decal over each fender...instant 40whp right there.

I havn't been able to find a TRD CAI for a first gen. So I went with K&N and I like it. The other guys are right it really sounds like I'm hauling ass, but I would say I can feel the differnce.

Gray wire, Some lights in the bed area, and some character marks throughout.
Why has the cheap deckplate mod not been suggested? We all know that a 1st gen does not gain much at all from a CAI. Just deckplate your truck and save for a blower. This is one thing that you can do in about 20 minutes (allowing for cure time).
