So I just had the Aero Turbine 2525 installed on my 2006 4.0 DC.

It sounds pretty sweet. I was dreaming of it sounding like a V8 but I can't complain. At times it sounds raspy, but that is party the recording. supposedly it really improves MPG so I'm pretty pumped about that!

    THANKS!
I am happy with it! Coming from the TRD Sport exhaust sound to this is quite a change! So far two thumbs up!

As far as a drone, there is a slight drone but I think that may be me really paying attention to it with no music on. I can definitely say I have heard and ridden in trucks with a much louder "drone" from exhaust.

How much effect do you think a cold air intake would have on the sound now with the exhaust? My main reason for it would be for increased performance (mainly MPG) but I don't want to get something that will be ridiculously loud or sound dumb.

That is a good question! I am curious myself (as I just bought a URD TCAI from eltacoloco). I will be redoing my exhaust soon as well, and this muffler and the magnaflow are on the list...

If you don't mind me asking....about how much did you have to pay for that muffler. Sounds great

adding an intake will make the exhaust a little louder, but it wont sound bad at all. it will make it a bit deeper and rumbly!!! go for it!! you'll like the outcome man!

Not at all, I bought the muffler on eBay for 118+tax, shipped for free. You can find the eBay dealer's web site here

That is exactly what I want! I would prefer the deeper tone definitely, without sacrificing MPG.
    Any suggestions?

I've never had it on a dyno so I can't give anything numbers, but I have definitely noticed an increase in both. Not to mention, it helps in gas too!
