A tank of gas then & now

What did it cost to fill up your Tacoma when you purchased it?

And what does it cost to fill up now?

don't know the tank price but when i bought it (about 3 months ago) i was deciding between an f150 and the taco (glad i got the taco). Anyways, my grandpa said to be concious of gas cause we'll have $4 gas soon. I didn't really think it would happen but....here we are at close to $5 gas. I feel bad for the V8 owners out there...

$50 when I bought it

Wow! Yikes! When my taco is paid for in 2 years. It will be my boat towing/yard work vehicle. I will buy something fuel efficent for my 40 mile oneway commute. Maybe The AIR Car will be my next car. Has to look good, not driving a dork mobile.

$18,000 up to 1,000 mpg. Coming to US in 2009-2010.
