Lifted, exhaust, sound system, tint, rims, wheels.
I just recently started putting the highest type of gas into my 2005 Toyota Tacoma that I just bought. Is that good?
    Thanks guys

Completely pointless and a waste of money. Use the proper octane.
I stick to 85 (87 in most places in the country) and add a bottle of techron/redline/regane every 5000 miles.

Yeah I use the plutonium as an additive. I throw a stick of plutonium in the gas tank. One per fill up usually does a good job.

Is is possible that I get 10 more miles on every tankfull at Chevron now that I don't use the value fuel at Costco or Safeway Gas? They all add their own chemicals to the same basic batch, but my Taco likes Chevron.

    This.

The timing in out engines is not advanced enough to be able to benefit from the higher octane, nor are they designed to run on the higher octane. Stick with regular. Remember octane is a measure or resistance to compression driven ignition, not a magic MPG number.

Lately been running on regular 87. Ran into an issue with some bad 93 gas and was getting some random sputtering.

Just the other day saw something in the news about the 15% ethanol possibly hitting the pumps....not looking forward to that!

chevron or shell 87 sometimes i might fill up with 89, just for the higher octane. i usually add a thing of lucas fuel injection cleaner or chevron cleaner every oil change.

I only use shell 93. My truck like's it. The manual does say that you will get better performance from the higher octane gas. Don't believe me???? Read it!
