Has anyone here done an alternator mod setup so they can run an AC outlet or two directly off of the alternator/setup a higher output alternator?

Thinking of trying it but don't want to reinvent the wheel if it has been done by anyone more knowledgeable.

Sorry for a newbie question

This is an interesting question and I'm curious what's been done as well. The only alternator mods I've heard of is installing a higher output one and mean green alternators is pretty good from what I've heard.
