    Has anyone installed an Helix Throttle body spacer? Do they really work?

    crap....save the money for something else. annoying and dont work

    yeah i knew a guy that put them in. he said he really couldnt tell any difference with or with out them.

    I did some dyno runs with a Helix spacer and an Airaid spacer. Neither showed any gains. I informed Airaid of my findings and they were pissed and said that I wont see gains under WOT on a dyno, and that I would only see gains under part throttle settings. I asked them, why then, do they claim a h.p. increase? Better acceleration? The guy walked off. :eek:

    3” spacer lift, 285/75/17 KO2, Spidertrax 1.25” spacers
    I find that throttle body spacers yeild the best performance gains AFTER you have upgraded to synthetic turn signal fluid and have switched to turbo muffler bearings.

    getting there....
    dont waste your $$$ on a tb spacer!! they do nothing for a fuel injected motor........and all they really do is whistle!! better off as a paper weight!! use the money you would spend for one of these for a better filter upgrade or something.

    I personally like using muffler bearings... along with halogen fluid for my headlights. Halogen fluid helps finding snipe at night

    well ya know i tend to find that lighter fluid works wonders as a substitute for washer fluid
