    does anyone have any experiance with "Volant" cool air intake? if not whats the best intake i can get

    save yourself some money and buy a AFE pro dry s filter and do the deck plate mod

    I purchased this intake, but when they shipped it not all the parts were in the box. So, I went with the S & B intake. I think they are about the same price, but I love it. Just some food for thought.
    Oh yeah, If you have a throttle body spacer, the intakes that come with the box like volant and S & B, you can't get a good seal with the filter and the box. Had to use some foam gasket, like the kind you would use to seal a camper shell to keep it from rattling.

    Volant ram air and CAI setup, Fumoto oil drain valve, Pioneer DEH-3900MP
    i have the volant CAI with the ram air scoop and love it. i didn't think the deck plate mod worked with GEN 2 trucks

    cool thanks but i already choose the afe intake stage 2 si dry pro, should be getting it in this week
