I may have to get some of these LEDs from you, I like the underhoood idea, also some under the bedrail would be awesome too, plus I would like some for my Jeep too in case I need light if it brakes at night and I need to do a trail fix...they seem pretty bright.

 

No problem, maybe we can cut a deal so you drop a v8 into my Taco and you get a lot of LEDs! Haha

But yeah they are extremely bright. I can see my engine bay clearly at night with just two lights. I could give you a discount if you get a bunch together for your taco and jeep. I'm planning on using them for rock lights soon too.

Havent had any time yet, just had to install a turbo setup on another Tacoma from a guy who drove over 400 miles to get it done, so I have been tied up, and before that I was in the desert..



So I should be able to get something soon, I have a problem with the alternator at the moment (I got a rebuilt one and it is no good), and I just put together a big brake kit for 1st gen Tacomas (2wd) and I need to get new caliper brackets machined since the 1st ones were off and are causing some issues, so I cant do any high speed stuff at the moment without good brakes either, maybe some tire smoking fun possibly..

Just drove it to havasu and pulled 24mpg average driving pretty fast, it seems that 30mpg is surely possible if I drive it like a normal person, lol.

Loving my truck, nothing like the sound of a sweet sounding V8 coming from a little taco.

I always get funny looks when I start it in a parking lot, people always do a double take when they hear it, haha. Especially when i leave the parking lot sideways.

What fuel management are you running with it? F.A.S.T.?

 

No, I am using the stock ECU and harness, it is a read/write style ECU and can be fully programmed just like a standalone, thats why most people doing swaps are using the stock one.

You can buy HP Tuners or EFI live and you can change all the parameters you want, i can see buying an aftermarket ECU when the stack one can be made to do whatever you want for the most part..there are even ways to make a MAP sensor read boost and add fuel accordingly.
