I have an '03 Tacoma that's in great shape.. only 60k miles. I plan on having it as long as possible so reliability is important but some performance boost would be awesome! I've gone synthetic w/ Amsoil and have done the K&N filter but that's it.

Wondering if it's a good idea to get a ram air intake and possibly an exhaust kit? Will this affect long-term reliability? Any other mods you guys recommend?

Don't get an exhaust system. All you need is a muffler and you will gain the same performance. As for intake I would do the 4" deck plate mod with a larger intake tube. You gain the same performance for cheap!:D
