Sorry to say but, driving a truck past that speed is just plan dumb. Get a car that can handle 100+ mph.

    Lots.
This isn't the forum to ask that question but I'll answer it.

For you no, since you have an automatic you cannot cancel the limiter. The wire you would cut, engine needs that connection to know when to shift.

For those with manual transmissions they can take there dash apart and cut that certain wire.

If you buy an APR X-1 ECU unit, you can set the limiter to whatever you want, say, 200 mph? :D

I just have to know. Why would you need or want to raise the top speed?

We have a limiter on these trucks? And it's that high? I don't even think my tires are rated for that lol.

I have my suspicions, but I wanted to hear th OP's side of the story. That way, when he confirms my suspicions, I can call him a retard with a clear conscience.

Don't forget the tires that aren't rated for high speeds.

I wouldn't worry, he's from Puerto Rico, he'll run out of road before he breaks triple digits.

I didn't realize the speed was controlled by a "gobernor". You learn something new everyday:rolleyes:.
