New magnaflow muffler buzzing noise???

has anyone whose put on a magnaflow make had a buzzing noise occur when you first got it? I have noticed that no matter whether its idling or running hard, there is a buzzing noise coming from the front of the muffler and its audible over the loudness of the muffler itself. Is this just break in, a patchy welding job and it leaking at some point in the front or something internal? The guy did drop the damn thing twice and theres a dent in it...

 

i guess you could consider it more of a hissing sound than buzzing. i hope its jsut a leak or break in, not from the ass hole dropping it twice and knocking something loose.

Did you check at the welds of the mufflers are leaking when you turn on your truck or maybe the two bolts that holds the cat back loose

 

Clamped or welded? Sounds like a leak to me.

 

it was a leak in the front of the muffler, went to a monro and they rewelded and put some sealant on the joint, all is good. sounds much smoother than the old flowmaster and almost as loud which means it will def become louder than the FM eventually
