I put on the biggest magnaflow muffler my exhaust shop had. I dont want the truck too loud, Its the 6sp so its loud enough, but nowhere near as loud as a 40 series flowmaster. I kept the oem pipe. You really dont want a big 2.5" or dual setup on these trucks. It actually loses power, the factory or trd is best. The trucks need backpressure

im running a straight back pipe from the cats, and having it dump out before the passenger rear tire, its nice and loud, not obnoxious though, yea i know its illegal with no muffler, but come on, these trucks are pretty dam powerful and they sound like babies when you offroad in them

not trying to rain on your parade or anything, but not enough back pressure can fubar a motor as well as having too much too. just a heads up bud.:)

the pipes I put in from the cats on back fixed alot of the backpressure issues that I was fearing, yea its a lil harder on the engine then just stock, but its not like rattling the living hell out of my truck from my system isnt good for the body and offroading it every weekend prob doesnt help to much, just gotta weigh the costs sometimes

True dat. You need back pressure, even with an intake. I got a Magnaflow and am very happy with it.
