I have noticed that a lot of the exhaust systems seem say they fit the xtra cabs/ extended cabs. Would this mean that they would not fit on my single cab tacoma? Why not? What exhaust would you recommend for a single cab?

If I were to only go for a new muffler, what size fits on my tacoma?

Did you search? There's a ton of info on all the options for exhaust and stuff but I went with a flowmaster 40 with a custom catback pipe and it was like 250 from a local shop and I love it

Well I have been searching, but it seems like they nearly all say that are intended for the extended cab, not a single cab. So I am curious why the extended cab ones wouldnt work on the single cab trucks.

Why not just get a custom exhaust done from a shop if you want to fit ext cab pipes on a reg cab? I believe it wouldn't fit cause the bend in the pipes won't fit over the rear axle cause of the longer wheel base and you'd have to cut something
