Is it the off road or the sport? Only the off road has the diff lock, there is a switch on the left side of the steering wheel that says diff lock on it too... btw many people and the stealerships dont know jack about tacomas, when i got rid of my last taco a want the trd skid plate off of it and the sales guy said that it would not fit on the new 2011. I laughed and said ok then took it home and put it on any way, the funny part when i went to get my tags he saw and the skid plate needless to say he didnt want to stay around and talk to much haha

If you have the Off Road, there is a button on the left hand driver side. I think it says RR lock or something like that. You only use it in mud, snow, sand, any situations where you need the extra traction, it locks both rear wheels together. You have to be very careful while driving as it can be easy to lose it if your going to fast.

Yep, you have the limited slip, nothing to turn on or off.

Wow... another Bozo sales team that dosen't know their own product!

*ALL Tacomas now have TRAC and AUTO LSD limited slip.

*OFF ROAD TRD has traction devices to improve off highway travel (stronger TRAC, A-TRAC, and locking differential).

*SPORT TRD has color matched bumper and a decorative hood scoop to, well to, umm let me think... just what good do they do?

At least it is a Toyota truck!

For whose sake does that help?

Looks good... like someone even knows if it was a Tacoma or a Ranger that just zipped by??? !!!

OFF the highway is where the money investment will do you some good... IF you got an OFF ROAD.

You do inforce what I have said, however:

SPORT if looks are important to you.
OFF ROAD if ability is important to you.
