I've realized over the years that the loudest vehicles on the roads are USUALLY the slowest. Hence they become my prime candidate to be put in their place when I roll up in my STi next to them and bring them back down the food chain of the ever growing population of ridiculously loud cars or trucks.

^ No what I am saying is that why put the loudest exhaust on a Tacoma, for instance you mentioned glass packs, on a truck that barely even has a motor? That's like buying a K&N filter than throwing a huge K&N decal on your back windshield and thinking you have the fastest thing on the block. You can "hear" the motor and have a decent exhaust without wanting the absolute loudest glass packing sound exhaust. That is what I'm saying get an exhaust that matches the trucks' output, anything louder people will look at you like you're retarded.
