Intake exhaust, whats next?

hey guys ive got a cold air intake and exhaust, just wondering what your next steps would be, i was thinking a throttle body spacer and also do they make a shift kit for the automatic transmissions?

 

im just looking for more power...

 

then get a super charger...other than that...save your money...your not gonna see substantial gains with anything less

 

More power= Supercharger

just running the stock brakes and damm a supercharger is expensive haha i guess thats the price to pay though if i want a decent power increase

 

if its the sound system your talking about ive just peiced it together bought shit cheap from buddies

 

I would go with the URD MAF calibrator its 199 from the webite supposed to give you 15 rwhp

 

why are the throttle body spacers such trash for these trucks?

 

idk i know ppl who use them on some chevy 5.7's and they seem to work fine so why not our trucks?

 

CHEVY = SHIT! thats all I have to say about that. If u want more cheap power get a stupid 350 like everyone else has. A cheap shitty silverado with a crappy 350. then u can get a TBS and get like 2hp

 

Save your money and spend it on upgrades that will increase the comfort and functionality on your truck for instance the suspension. Everything else power wise is a waste of money. As far as bolt-ons, there aren't too many aftermarket power adders available other than an intake, exhaust, and headers.

 

doug thorly long tube headers and the URD MAF CAL will give you some power. but as said before, real power will come from a SC

 

get a set of headers

 

Doug thorley headers long tube. My exhaust right now is cai, to 2.5 pipe, flowmaster 80 series muffler dual out 4 inch tips. Im soon changing the pipe to 3 though, its soo deep!

Okay i feel like this is a dumb question, but is a cold air intake a bad idea if you like to go off road? jw cuz of dirt and mud flyin up and what not and hittin puddles splashin up there and what not.

 

Its more of a risk, but if you have a box covering it should be fine

 

S/c is your best bet. Then get the MAF cal, smaller dia. S/c pulley and the NST overdrive pulley set, all that paired with an intake and headers/exhaust will put you about as much as you will get out of these trucks, in my opinion. All of that would run you about 5-6 grand depending on where you buy your S/c.
