    TRD exhaust, IPCW led taillights and headlights
    i have trd exhaust installed. i've been reading on this site about guys changing the air filter to afe, k&n, etc. does changing the air filter give any boost in performance with exhaust? any info would be great. thanks.

    no. Nothing detectable on a dyno. In fact, a while back a guy dynoed his truck with the factory filter, and NO filter, and showed about a 1.5 hp gain, which is within the error margin of the dyno.

    An Intake system may help with the throttle response, but not a drop oin filter.
