Sorry, I don't get it. Are there any non-sarcastic opinions out there?

dont waste your money. If you want power the only real way is a Turbo or supercharger kit. Oh and a tacomaworld sticker. :D

While I do not have any experience with this product, GTE also offers an electric supercharger, which is a complete ripoff. I would imagine that anything that they make is also crap.

BTW, GTE was the name of a phone company, hence the phone company reference in post #2.

    They are useless my friend.
$ better spent on exhaust or intake or supercharger...

I have installed this chip in my 1996 Honda CRV. 2 minutes to install with wire taps. It does everything it claims.
I am getting 4mpg better fuel consumption around town and highway running. Probably because I'm getting lower revs for same speed eg 3000rpm was getting me 110kph , now 120kph.
Seems to have found a 500rpm overdrive gear.
Much more torque - holds revs and speed much better up inclines.
And just quicker off the line - just quite a different drive.

What sort of dork says 'proof?' - I'm just telling you what my experience is- I''ve done a 800km road trip and about 300km town trips since installation with tank full to tank full and that's what I've observed.

For all you people on here dogging the question. I installed one of these chips on my tacoma. The diffrence is amazing. Didnt notice much on mpg but the torque and hp was a world of diffrence. So for all you that think this doesn't work...miss out...but for the person who orginally posted this ....Hey ..trust me...buy it...you won't regret it....it works...no questions ask...
