Gotcha. Yea I would go your route. Or just use a little 2" piece of wire to go between the posts on the speakers.

True, If I go spend an afternoon doing this. What would be the best way to measure success or progress??

I'm actually not sure... I think that other post definitely shows the benefit to having clean, uncorroded wiring though! As far as grounding the throttle body goes, so far the only results seem to be 'it feels like it shifts better' or improved throttle response.

I would be doing it expecting lil to zero improvement. But I spend an hour and a half in my vechical driving everyday, if theres a difference it'd notice. Most accurate butt dyno ever!

Check the voltage on the battery then turn your lights on and check. There will be a 1-2volt drop and the engine might even get pulled down by the load yet you will not fell the difference when you drive. Thus proving my point that electrical load poses little to no difference in performance.

If the engine gets pulled down, that would be a drag on performance now wouldn't it...

If the existing grounds are bad or marginal, I can see how additional grounds might help.

For those who wonder how grounds might help performance, a higher system voltage produces a higher secondary voltage from the coils -- a hotter spark.

I still don't see how grounding the throttle body would come into play. I would buy your argument for grounding various other parts, but I don't see how grounding the throttle body would do anything to improve performance.

it might make a hotter spark but that really has no effect on power. the only effect it might have is a hotter spark plug tip leading to preignition
