TRD exhaust: real or fake, how to tell?

    Might pick up a trd exh. on CL, but the tip has been cut after the axle, how can I tell its real?

    Mods are currently being changed .....
    Only way is to check the muffler, really. Heres a pic of the trd if it helps.

    Borsa is stamped on the bottom. Theres some numbers on the bottom of the muffler too. I might still have a pic laying around somewhere

    Whats he asking for it btw? I can't imagine it being worth much more than like 150 bux since its been hacked up... maybe... I dunno. Any more than that and you can probably pick up an aftermarket muffler and have it welded into your stock exhaust for the same or less $. There really isnt much difference in the bends/piping between the two.

    would i be better off just going with a new magnaflow found a cat back system for less than 400 bucks here, but then saw the trd for 250... but THEN found out he hacked it... (which im not worried about, actually dont like the big chrome tip sticking out the side anyway!)
    but performance wise, whats better? sound wise is the hack after the axle louder? id hate to have a drone sound constantly.... i know thats a possibility with the shorter pipe...
