Coolant overflow problems after 50K miles of Supercharger Being installed

    Do yOu think that maybe the pulley plus cai caused the lean condition and blew it?

    Lots of miles with boost, on a motor designed to be N/A is the cause. Not a filter or pulley. The factory head gasket is weak by design. The added stresses of boost, just mean it will fail sooner.

    I'll go with Torspd on this one. I am done with mods on this thing now, I just got a 2012 Audi S4 that ought to cure my need to go into boost for fun on the truck...:D

    Should have used MULTI LAYER STEEL head gasket! I have not seen OEM head gasket for the 1GR-FE in person, but most stock head gaskets on N/A motors are crap and wont hold well in boost. Hell my 2.5L Nissan running T3/T4 60trim blew head gasket after some 10k miles being boosted.
