MKI - I put down 325 hp with this setup

and Gadget is just releasing the MKIII kit I believe. Also a new kit for the new dual VVTI 4.0L in the new 4 runners

TRD was actually second to market

I think the prototype is already out, and for the 2.7L you can up your HP and torque to above stock 4.0L levels.

Dude, if I read your posts then read them again, it still comes out the same. That you THINK there is a possible kit FROM URD for the 4.0 and that ONLY the TRD is out for the 4.0. The OP stated that he want to keep his 3.4 stock, and upgrade the 4.0.

URD has had the MKI, the MKII, and now the MKIII out for the 4.0L Tacoma. The MKIII came out a few months ago. With certain select components upgraded, from the MKII. However, they are interchangeable. The MKI is a completely different setup from the newer versions.

These kits have been out for years though. They are basically the only two S/C available for the 4.0L.

Here is also another thing to note. At 8psi with headers, TRD cat back, on the TRD S/C, @ sea level, my friend made 315whp and 320 wtq. Not much compared to the MKIII at 8 psi which made 399 whp and 386 wtq. The URD system is a very efficient one.

Urd currently does not have a kit for the 09+ as the x-1 is not available due to ECU connector configuration. I know they are working on it if Toyota will release the connector housing.
