Has anyone ever tried to spray paint their exhaust tip with high heat Rustoleum? Would love to have a glossy black exhaust tip and wondering if spray paint has ever been attempted.

Works fine, if you do it properly:cool:

Did it to a buddy's Avanlanche, bought a tip from Part's Source and peeled the chrome off, sanded, high heat primer, paint (2-3 coats depending on colour), some clear coat if you can find some good stuff. We threw a chevy sticker on it then peeled it off after we finished painting looks good. Been over 6 months no peeling or anything.

That's a great idea. Paint or Powder Coated would look nice. I'm going to think about this for mine.
