TRD Exhaust or TRD cold air intake

I have a 2011 Tacoma double cab short bed and I was wondering which would be better. TRD cold air intake or TRD exhaust to make my car sound louder and give me more horsepower and torque.

Why not both? I have both and IMHO opinion it didn't do much. I feel little gain in torque and hp. You will also notice more sound. I still like it. If you had to pick 1 I would go with the TRD exhaust.

Well neither will give you much in return. I would go with the exhaust since the new TRD intake sucks.

Thanks for the advice. I would love to get both but I don't have that much money right now. ::

I went with the TRD intake first... I was very happy with it!

I would go intake first, it is louder when you want to get on it and stock quiet when crusing around. Neither will do much of anything for performance. The trd exhaust tip does look nicer.

You didn't say what your actual budget was, but for a bit more than the price of a new TRD air intake or exhaust, you could get an AFE Stage II SI intake and a muffler welded in for about $400. The "purported" gains are 12hp for the intake (per Gadget's dyno runs, personally I had no 0-60 or 1/4 gains from it) and 5 for the exhaust. From that it makes sense to go intake first and you can get about the same exhaust gains from a Dynomax super turbo, according the Chris4x4's dynos.

You'll also get quite a few opinions that neither gains anything. Like I said, I didn't see any timing gains from either an AFE or a TRD exhaust, but some say there is and some have some dynos. I just didn't see anything usable on the street.
