07 Hard Shifting from 1st to 2nd

    Since I bought the truck I have notices that the truck shifts really hard form 1st to 2nd and a little rough in some other gears. Does anyone know why? I have 12,000 miles on the truck and I was thinking of getting the transmission and differential serviced. Would this help? is anyone else having this issue or is it the 4X4 that makes it rough.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    is posted in other topics, but i'm not sure what the fix action was. i think people chalked it up to be a toyo defunk that they dont acknowledge...along w/ the driveshaft

    Maybe you need some more trans fluid it helped mine because I had the same problem.
