I have a 2011 tacoma double cab and want to install a #12256 18" magnaflow muffler. From the specs it looks like the muffler will fit by cutting out the stock muffler and welding in the magnaflow.

The question I have is what have others done to replace the hangers that hold the muffler? I could cut the stock hangers off and weld them on the magnaflow, but was wondering if anyone had a better solution?

    Thanks
