Since when did $95 for an Aero Turbine muffler become "expensive?"

    It's a truck. It's not a high school thing.

Toyota calls the Tacomas 'trucks,' which for the sake of argument is what we will call them. Trucks are not meant for luxury and sophisticated sounding exhausts (such as Aeros). If I wanted a luxury vehicle I'd buy a damn $50,000 SUV. Put an Aero on a sedan.

Glasspacks are $40. And if you can weld, you can install em for free.

Apparently a $20,000+ truck isn't worth a $95 part? Having heard an AT on a newer taco thats the only route I would go.

Make sure it has a portion holding around 3-4000 rpm so we can hear the wonderful droning noise

This truck does not have the best sound 6 cylinder out there, this is why you need to spen alittle bit of $$ to keep it from sound like it has glass packs :smack:

I guess it's time for Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, Nissan, BMW, AMG, and other high end auto makers to use glass packs in their systems for there quality, lifespan, performance, and tone. :D

I have a magnaflow glass pack but it does sound like crap cause I have headers, but before the headers it sounded awesome I mean you get what you pay for but for $30 bucks can't complain

im building my truck to last...it cost 25k...ive got 1400 in armor with another 2k before im done....ill have close to 2500 in susp when its finished...not to mention gears, lockers ,lighting etc.....forgive me if i feel my "truck" is worth a stainless steel muffler that wont "rot" out in a yr or burn out the internals in 6-8 months....i spend money on quality parts that last....ive run glass packs before and no im not a fan of them, if you like them great lopts of people do and as long as ur happy with your truck thats all that matters...but dont make it sound like putting an at muffler on is a waste or stupid.....that just makes you sound ignorant...be happy with what you have, give your opinion, but dont put others down for buyin a good quality part because you choose not too...
