    I need to get to PowerFab and do some on mine.

    I had been up there three times during the past week, and forgot every time to get a print out of all of the 4Runner pulls we did. My apologies.

    My truck is up and running, to full N/A potential again. Stock flywheel, stock crank pulley, Tacoma intake cam gears(WOOT!), T56 transmission (WOOT WOOT!), and stock headers/Y-pipe. No catback.

    I will see if I can get in there sometime later this week, as well as getting the dyno graphs from the 4Runner, through email.

    The manifold is plastic. The material of the spacer won't make any difference with heat soak.

    How would a hot piece of aluminum sitting in the middle of our polymer intake manifolds not get heat soaked? Given, the difference in power, while likely negligible, takes away from the goal of adding the spacer. Just sayin....

    Lucario and I both have the email that has all of the dyno runs, on his 4Runner.

    However, they are a "DRF" files, and neither of us have the ability to open them. :/

    PM me if anybody has the ability to open that specific file type.

    It's not in the middle of the polymer intake. It sits on top of the cast aluminum lower intake manifold, so it's no different than if the lower intake manifold was 1/2" higher. If the upper manifold was aluminum, then a composite or phenolic spacer *might* help (not really, but for argument sake we'll say it might). Reality is heat soak is caused more by the heat rising through the intake ports and into the manifold when the engine is shut off. Heat transfer from the block is not the sole cause of the soak (or the primary cause).

    It looks like a program called DynoJet could have created the DRF files.

    Yeah. Appreciate the help. I had found some other websites that said they could open those files, besides the DynoJet website. They were asking for a fee for the software. That is why I figured I woukd post up on here first to see if by chance someone already had a program that was capable. Figured I would do that before checking the DynoJet site. Looks like i will have to. Sigh.....

    I hope the OP has something. I was scheduled for a dyno this weekend. Had to cancel though. Due to the recent finding of the block leaking oil at the rear oil port, on the passenger side. High rpm makes it leak faster. So, not taking the chance of making it worse. Getting parts to repair it next weekend though.
