    Why would you want to?

This spacer "potentially" improves the naturally aspirated intake flow at lower rpm by increasing the length. With a supercharger no need to play with intake port length. Shorter is better.

This is a mod I can have now. The supercharger will be in a year at the least

Here is an update. Well, Unfortunately, I'm ticked. The shop told me a couple weeks (a couple weeks ago). I called again yesterday, and he told me "when I first talked with you about the work on this spacer, 'I thought how was I going to keep my guys busy working, so I took the work' " "however since then, we got absolutely bombarded with other clients work", "I will have your parts within the next 2 weeks". Needless to say I'm pissed, but am stuck in a position. They will definitely get produced and shipped, but we got bumped for bigger customers. Trust me I pester the crap out of everyone, so it's not for lack of my trying. Sorry for the unexciting news...

Lol, I planned on this happening so i'm not too butthurt. I would however, really appreciate it by the time I leave for a trip on Jan 20th... but that probably wont happen either. The shop you're working with can't be the only place that could do this for you. I'd check around in case the shop keeps putting you off.

Built for maximum low end torque, tooter II.VII intake manifold spacer, LCE long tube header, Injen long tube intake, 2,900 rpm torque peak.
This is bound to happen when orders are taken before a product is actually made or dyno tested.

Trust me guys, I am as miffed as you, because even though it it's not in my power to change the situation, it still reflects bad on me. I hate when people/businesses tell you one thing and then do another. If I had a cnc machine and could do these myself I would. I do what I say, just wish everyone else in the world did too. I do things the way I would want them done for me. Unfortunately when an order for 50k comes in, my little project got shoved over. I would rant to the guy, but all that does is cause more problems, so I had to be polite and hope for the best. I did give him a hard time without being a jerk. Hopefully he'll get things done sooner than expected. Thanks for being patient.

This is pretty typical of this type of work. As I explained earlier, I have been down the same path at a previous employer. They would get quotes and lead times. By the time they committed, other companies with money in hand filled the schedule, totally blowing the schedule or management expected to keep.

CNC machines make money by making parts. I'm sure if each job shop got paid on what they quoted rather than than all the parts made, their income would be ten fold more.

Most of the shops I have dealt with, work a very professional schedule that places work onto the machines as machines become available, material arrives, and in order the paying request was received.

I mentioned earlier about my previous employer and a job we got bumped on. We had a small but important item that needed to be made. The company that bumped us was Motorolla having molds made for cell phones. Our job was worth maybe $2k, theirs, and I saw the parts coming off the machines, was probably $200k.

$200k, machines running 24 / 7 and guys getting paid overtime is one happy shop. They were still happy to accomplish ours, we just waited a day to long to submit the order.

It will be worth the wait.

Hey, if they say 2 weeks I don't mind. If they don't do two weeks then I'll be slightly irate. But it has been about a month so what's a couple more weeks?

Exactly. +1 to highaltitude for keeping us in the loop regardless of the situation.

Pretty much. If it's anything like my job (EMS) everybody talks. Last thing you want to do is piss this guy off and have him talk to the other shops, and next thing you know, no one will take you as a client.
