I would get the AFE one instead, PN 51-11502, principal benefit being a dry filter that doesn't need oiling.

Do they all give the same boost in performance and sound or does one stand out?

They don't provide perfromance boost (except to the financial performance of the business that sells it to you). They just make the engine sound a little louder.

The deckplate mod has demonstrated (unpartially, not marketing hype) dyno perfomance gains of up to 8hp on the V6, IIRC. It costs about $20 bucks (decplate, plus sensor-safe silicon, some screws, and some screen) versus the $150+ of the do-nothing CAIs.

If all you want is a louder engine, you can say "BRAAAAAAAAAP" as you drive. This is free, but tiring.

How can a CAI do nothing while a deckplate mod gives 8 hp?

Dunno, but that's how it works on the 5VZ. That's what the dyno sez. If you do the elbow mod, it draws cool air from inside the fender without the long tube with sharp bends, which is cooler than anything under the hood.
