Question Anyone who knows about exhaust performance-True dual

i am thinking about getting true dual exhaust! I have thought about doing many different types of exhaust setups but i think im actually going to do this one! I dont know all that much about exhaust performance wise but i have a general idea. I was planning on taking out the rear cats, from that point run true dual pipe all the way up to the muffler, then duals out the rear. What i need help with is h pipes as compared to dual in/dual out mufflers? Any other info anyone may have on true dual setups will be greatly appreciated as well even if it is something i did not mention!!

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Most of the "True duall" set ups I have done have produced a power loss, unless the engine has been supercharged, and even then, only on large V8 engines.

no. Your better off with a single pipe. If you want the dual system, split the pipes after the muffler.

i dont mean to offend you by asking this but how did you determine that it was a powerloss?

I never had to determine anything, I have built "true dual" exhasts and dynoed them. I have dynoed alot of systems, and on many vehicles, so I have a good idea of what works.

Only about 5 h.p.. The largest loss was a Flowmaster with almost 10 h.p. loss.

That was with running true dual exhaust correct? and what was the brand muffler used, besides the flowmaster.
