I recently had a supercharger installed on my 2009 Tacoma, which has a K&N CAI. The service rep said that Toyota doesn't recommend using a CAI with a S/C, but he could not explain why. I saw other threads that had both installed. Does anyone know the reason for this?

Because the carbon filter is probably removed, could be one reason. Simply that in states like Cali, that might make it non CARB approved.
