I am looking at a Magnaflow for my 2.7L, and I like seeing the numbers in front of me.

2007, 4.0L, Flowmaster, Original 40 Series.

Love it - just like everyone else says, it's not intrusive or annoying for everyday driving, but when you really get on it (say, above 3500 RPM) you will get the attention of those around you.

It also sounds very smooth during regular driving, alluding to the fact that there's a lot more under the hood than you're using.

Does anybody have some sound clips of all different exhausts for a 4 banger? I'm deciding between a Flowmaster 40 original or something else (that y'all recommend)

Definitely NOT a ricer. I want a really deep throaty growl. Yes, I know it's only a 4 banger, but a deep throaty growl would be great.

I guess I'll continue this thread too. I want a low, throaty growl, but I want it to idle pretty quietly and I want almost no in-cab noise at cruising speed. I'm debating between the Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow, Flowmaster 50 SUV series, and Magnaflow. Any help fellas? I run an '07 4.0 V6 Sport Access Cab.

Aero turbine 2525

I went and swapped the stock muffler on my 07 4.0L TRD AC Sport for the aero turbine 2525, I decided against the resonated 2525xl. You never forget that you're not stock, and it isn't overly intrusive unless I'm trying to put my foot thru the floor. Unique sound too.

I like the sound of the gibson on the 4.0 myself. Sounds more like a V8, less like a ricer imo.
