14" magnaflow review

Today I had both rear cats cut out, straight piped and 14" magnaflow 11225 center/offset 2.25" inlet/outlet put in with rear turn down. It sounds awesome! Nice and deep at idle and cruise with throaty growl when I get on it. This beats paying hundreds for exhaust system! I paid $35 for muffler and $40 for installation... Highly recommend this muffler! Now some pics;

Does your check engine light stay on because of the cats being gone?

Nope these are the two rear cats behind the o2 sensors. 2nd Gen's have four cats. Two cats for each cylinder bank. There is o2 sensor before and after the 1st set of cats, no o2 sensors behind the rear cats. The computer has no way of knowing the rear cats are gone..

It was done at Custom Mufflers at 12011 North 19th Avenue #3 Phoenix, AZ 85029. Quick and solid work. Welds look awesome, way better in person than in the shittastic cell phone pictures...

They did bunch of work for my friend who came with me. We hang out in the shop area by the lift while he did the work...
