Well the whole point of me mentioning the flash was to disprove the theory of a dead engine just by bolting up a blower.

When did you mention FLASH????? oh thats right, someone else did then you rode it out. Buying and bolting on VS Buying and PAYING for install two different stories man. Should be a lil more exact with what you say in the future then as to avoid confusion. People might hold you to what you say.

Again. The flash is part of the blower install. If you know anything about modding then you would know that some kind of fuel map modification is necessary for you to run the blower. Extra air needs more fuel. It is common sense.

Of course then an aftermarket EMS to properly run things.....That price has a decent range on it.

If looking for 300 wtq, though, it will be much easier. Intake, headers, pulleys, EMS, light weight flywheel, light wheels.

Some of the biggest issues with this motor and Performance parts, is that there is no real demand, you got 5 guys asking for it, and the other 250k are like nah im good.

I guess you miss all of these previous comments or are just lost to some of the terminology. Let me help

EMS= Engine Management System=== Fuel/Air/Timing control
PiggyBack= Another form of engine management= Same as above however less control.
Standalone= Laptop program managed ECU(delete toyota ECU). TOTAL CONTROL!!!

I will make sure to ask if you understand all comments in the future so your not lost nor make an a** of yourself. But from our past go rounds that seems to be what your good at.

Again, the flash is part of the blower install. It doesn't take much to understand that. It says to do the flash in the instructions. Basic reading skills are required to read directions.

No shit sherlock, however also possessing a set of said instructions that come with said TRD S/C might be required to be able to read your said instructions. I get that, but you are missing the bigger point here, you never said FLASH or to do it nothing. YOUR WORDS WERE BOLT ON AND GO!!!!!!

So in YOUR WORDS, as YOU SAID. If you were to BOLT ON AND GO, it WILL NOT LAST!!!

Damn man you said what you said, deal with it and move on, stop trying to ride other individuals coat tails in being correct.

Remind me to harass you next time you say something that you imply an application or instruction and someone is too ignorant to understand this concept being presented.

Nothing out there is truly and is rarely ever "bolt-on" it's the nature of modifications. Bolt-on as a statement means that someone has a part designed for a certain application with a set of instructions (usually easily followed), some saying "Bolt-on and go" means following the instructions provided and once that is completed you're ready to "go"

Please Refrain from more nonsense in this thread.

The theduck911 and whippersnapper mentioned, the reflash is the easiest and safest method for most. If you have your dealership install your s/c, and know nothing other than you are trying a s/c installed on your vehicle, they will do the reflash. No questions asked.

Only if you know of other tuning methods or options, would you ask not to have it flashed.

The TRD reflash is a very safe tune, and hands free....even works up to 9 psi, and quite well.

TRD s/c only comes with ~6 psi out of the box.
