URD Maf Cal "Plug-n-Play" 2012

so ur saying u have the 09-11 plugs for the ecu?

from what i hear those are hard as hell to get.
even gadget hasnt even got them yet....

and i will buy a set of plugs if u do so i can make a custom pnp harness for my stand alone ecu.

 

not they arent the plugs, they are pig tails that have the correct terminals, you remove the wire terminals from the ecu connector and install the pig tail into the connector, there will be 2 pig tails for ever wire on the ecu, a female to plug into the connector on the ecu side, and a male pigtail that goes inside the removed female. you only solder the pig tails to the PCU. i will post a pic to explain better this week

It would be possible but you would need a 6 pole double throw switch, and there's more risk of failure. it could be done but i dont think it will be a route i will pursue for these kits

I don't think it will take a 6 pole switch as I was only considering bypassing the functionality, not the entire PCU. I believe that you only need to bypass the MAF sensor wire, not the tach, tps, power or ground. But, end of the day, your choice. I just thought that might be something to consider before you start selling.

 

Gotcha, well you seem to know more about it than I do. If you end up doing it and make a write up, I'd be happy to post a link to it on my thread.

 

Next shipment is leaving Japan by Monday, should be about 1-2 weeks including the wait at customs.

Will this fit the 2011 as well? If so I have a URD calibrator I have not installed due to warranty issues that will come up with splicing into the ECU wires.

Just installed on my truck. 10 miles and still no CEL or codes will be sending out a kit to csjumper to make sure its good on the older trucks. NOT taking orders just yet.

I am 99% positive it will fit 09+ just because the install guide from URD for the Maf Cal that came with mine says "2009" and someone hand wrote "2012" right below it lol. Just noticed it

 

URD said 09+ works all the way up to 2012's.. So it should work.
I'm excited..

 

I agree... Still going to wait until it is installed on csjumpers truck before I start to sell, just to be safe

Just drove from from Sayville, NY to Hyannis, MA this weekend. Over 500 miles with the new Kit. No problems at all, and with doing 75+ and not taking it too easy on the gas, saw 19.4 mpg
