trd supercharger questions

i am on the verge of buying a trd super charger

and i was watching videos of some tacomas with the trd s/c and the acceleration does not look like a big difference from 0-60.

can anyone with a s/c tell me if there is a substantial difference?

 

I haven't run mine against a clock, before or after the SC. It's not my thing. But it is faster now. What's more noticeable is the torque. The truck seems to have the same amount of power from 2K rpm all the way up. No more needing a hard down-shift to accelerate up to freeway speeds.

 

Your gonna get the most out of the S/C above 3.5k rpm

 

i love mine i can bark 1st and 2nd gear with out trouble and i have an auto trany!

 

I don't have any numbers for you, but there's a huge difference, especially if you go with the URD 7th and 2.2 pulley.

Yea I had a hard time finding any info out too. I found some data on the stock v6 DC but that was about it. I just recenlty added a SC to my DC v6 4x4 and have posted some info to the link below. I did some time runs myself, as accurate as that can be, and I was surprised by just how fast the thing is now...

0-60 accel will be nice. But what makes the supercharger so sweet, is when your cruising at 50-60 and you step on it and it pushes you back in your seat.

I myself have a few more add-ons then just the blower, but on my truck my 0-60 is real close to being in the 4 second range (if not).

Im close to buying a S/C for my 2006 Tacoma 4.0 Auto. Does anyone know if my K&N CAI will cause problems for the SC if its installed? Also, what is the MPG like after installing the S/C

EDIT: You have an 09. I would wait till they come out with the 09 version. It might be a while but the URD trumps the TRD thousands of times over.
