Why does TRD utilize eatons 4 lobe rotors w/ 160° turn design on the tundra's blower but a 3 lobe 60° turn design on the tacoma's? shed some light on me TW

I believe the Tundra Eaton, is the TVS Supercharger.

And that being said, the Tacoma one is the M90 roots...... I think. Please correct.

The Eaton Supercharger Model 90 is designed for 3.0L to 5.0L passenger car and light truck engines - Sounds about right maybe the m62 but that seems small. So in other words maybe they havent quite yet built a TVS system to fit our trucks? The TVS product family will consist of the following models:
R410 - not available at this time
R900 - not available at this time
R1050 - not available at this time
    R1320
    R1650
    R1900
    R2300
Im getting most of this right off of eaton's site... not sure if ^^ the numbers move up with engine size like the 5th gen models but maybe their flow rate?
I wonder how the TVS would compare to the 3 lobe if they come out with TVS for our v6 blowers?
found pretty neat informative document http://www.engine-expo.com/forum_2009/pdfs/day1/11_robert_walling.pdf

We should call PSI in AZ and see if they can make a screw blower for the tacoma like we have on our Top Alcohol dragster.

URD has a twin screw on one of their 4Runners. Not sure which brand it is though.

I know it's a way different style set up and all but it would add power. Ours puts out about 60 psi of boost & runs on average a 5.40 @ 266 mph on a nhra prepped track. I ran thru ur build Torspd real nice. Performance is super addicting.

This type of blower consist of a male and female rotors right? Instead of the symmetrical roots design? More efficient?

I would love to screw twins! Would this make sense for a daily driver application?

yeah, male female not a roots type at all. 6k rpm launch, 9,500 thru the lights. its the JC auto glass dragster, the car starts burn out at the 2min 40sec mark it blew the tires off 1/2 track. Div tracks dont have alot of rubber down for grip for the faster cars so we gotta back them down a bunch
