    getting there....
    why dont ya just drop the secondary filter and get an afe pro dry s filter............gonna do the same thing as a cai......maybe a little better tho...at a fraction of the cost of a cai.

    I am going to drop the secondary filter no matter what. the dry S I thought that was a CAI

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    the afe dry s is a drop in filter....thatallows u to remove the secondary filter. if u go w/ a full intake that removes the stock piping and air box, then it will already remove the secondary filter

    Yes. The secondary filter is an emissions thing that keeps vapors from escaping the engine (if it works at all). In my opinion, jerk it out as soon as you can, because any filter that is fixed to the engine and is not designed to be replaced is STUPID. What are you supposed to do when it gets full of crap? Let the engine limp on in silence?

    if u get a full CAI that removes the box between the piping and the throttle body, then u just removed it and need to do nothign else
