    So, I have a brand new 2013 Tacoma Crew cab with TRD and a fake hood scoop.
    What is the deal with the Toyota brand Turbo Charger accessory that they offer? Will it increase my gas mileage? Will it make towing my single axle 2000# trailer easier and more efficient?

    Short answer yes. Didn't know Toyota made an OEM turbo for the 1GR though.

    are you sure you're not talking about the supercharger kit for the v6 tacoma? It would help a little bit because the extra power but since you have a double cab trd sport your truck is rated to tow 6500 lbs and you should have no trouble pulling that trailer. It will not increase fuel mileage and you have to run premium once it's installed.

    Could be the "supercharger", I don't have the brochure anymore.

    And, no, I don't have any problem pulling the trailer, I'm just not used to all the automatic downshifting on even the slightest grades.

    The possibility of being required to run premium fuel nixes the idea anyhow.
