    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
I think either the delta or SUV is going to be roughly the same...

I have the #17432 which is the 50 series cat-back with dual exit pipes.

It is mild but you can still hear it in the cab.

looking to just change the muffler. I think the 40 series is going to be too loud for me. I don't mind hearing it just don't want to be overly noisey. I had the suv/performance on my 302 ford before and it sounded good. would it sound the same on the tacoma? so i think it is a toss up either the delta or the suv. any advice woul be nice to make up my mind. thanks

Get on Youtube and listen to some sound clips.

Sound clips usually suck anyway - but it's better than not hearing anything at all.

It won't have the same sound as a V8.

i decided on the delta 50 series. which size do i get. 2.25 or 2.5?
outside diameter of the pipe on the truck now is 2.33. also which pipe pattern.
example center in offset out? right now the muffler is turned flat with front in is on top and the back out is on the bottom.

I ended up getting the Delta 50 and it sound awesome. I was told that the 50 SUV sounded somewhat stock so I choose the Delta... Very happy with sound... Think it was 2.5

I also just installed the Flowmaster 50 series and I pretty sure it is 2.5" inchs. You can hear it in the cab but its not bad at all. I just installed a TRD CAI and it made it a tad louder.;)
