What's up guys. Just joined tacoma world and I got my first Tacoma today, its a 2010 speedway blue access cab 2.7 4 cylinder. I'm looking to get exhaust and i have no idea which flowmasters to get. i'm looking for a deep sound that is kinda loud but not loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood. Help please?

    btw. first post! hah.

Neither... on the 2.7 I'd get the Wicked Flows 13 or 15 personally

I agree on neither! Blowmaster does not work well on our engine. I had the 44 last and made my truck feel numb if you will kinda like driving with your e brake on. Switched to magnaflow, unplugged my neg. battery cable and drove like a bat out of hell there after...

Putting a Flowmaster on your recently purchased Tacoma is the equivalent of going to the best burger joint in town and ruining it by putting Mayonaise on it.

Do not get a chokemaster. There are many good choices that are beter than flowmaster.

What about its construction? Sure, it's made of SS and has a decent build, but that doesn't mean it's the best option for a Tacoma... I think that it would flow alright, but I can't imagine I would like the sound or be able to stand it for more than 5 minutes when its sole purpose is to be loud. I'd like to see a vid of one

Put a Fm on my 2011, drove it about 10 miles, turned around, put the stock back on, sold the FM on craigslist - total out of pocket for a hard lesson - about $100. Don't do it. Sounds terrible.

I had them on a mustang and LOVED the sound. On a Tacoma? Never again.

Not a very restrictive muffler if you ask me. Had my 10 series for a while now and like it. It's really not that loud. :) It's all subjective, get what sounds good to YOU.

    LOUD. ASS. HOLE. :p

This. Do whatever you want and do what sounds good to you. But to my ear FMs sound bad on Tacomas and they are dyno proven to decrease hp on these trucks. People can run whatever they want, but you will never see me recommending one to anyone else. There are better options out there.

I have the aero turbine on my truck and it sounds WAY better than any flowmaster in my opinion.
