Ok I have an 01 std cab taco with a 1jzvvti swap that I am now converting to a 1.5jz vvti 1000hp set up with a th400 trans. I'm using 2 ladder bars as my parallel links and triangulating the top. My question is what spring load should I use for the coils on the rear 200or 250lb I was thinking of using 200s with air shocks that way I can stiffen it if necessary . I had my 1jz with a 60mm turbo at 22lbs and a 100shot wirh 28 10.5 slicks and cal tracs I'd have to spray it after launch and when it hit 22psi at the top of 2nd it would start spinning. Do yall think the 200lb springs aren't going to be too soft and compress just sitting? most s10s use 250s.

I think you're in the wrong forum... I would check out XRUnderground, they will have more opinions and experience with race trucks than on here.

Wait, you still need to show us this beast and definitely stick around. There are a few on here who have set up high-boost trucks but XRUnderground is full of them so you might get more helpful responses over there.

    Went from this (23psi) 2RZ, GT3076R turbo.

    To this.

The turbo 4 cyl had a little more top end but the V8 has waaay more torque down low and mid, however boost is in the works..so getting there, about 400 more horses and I should be good.

I wanted to do the 5.7 swap but too much low end torque especially with trans brake. Very nice set up though.
