Depends... Tundra's power is N/A and you can actually do something with the power like tow/haul more. Put more power in a Tacoma, it's still a mid-sized truck, none of it's capabilities have changed..

Reading this thread I always find it entertaining how the people that say you get zero horse power are the ones who havnt really tried the mods.

Like on my tC I've got a performance header and a lightweight crankpulley, night/day difference over stock.

OP, another thing I've learned is that peak horsepower gains don't really mean too much in the grand scheme of things. When your researching parts and looking at dyno's insure that more power is made throughout the whole rpm band. The earlier you can have the power band kick in the better. Increases daily driver type driveability HUGE because thats how 99% of the small power modders are going to be using their vehicles in the first place.

If you have no plans to rally race constantly in the high rpms's, then your peak numbers dont matter.

Example, my previous mentioned lightweight crank pulley only gives a peak Hp gain of like 9 hp, but in the lower rpms it actually increases by 22+, this is done by moving your power band lower so its much more accessable to you.

Good info. And thats my biggest problem is finding slight mods that do make a difference. I am eventually going to get a supercharger but want to make sure its paid off first. I have already dumped allot of money into it but for 3k i want to make sure that its mine. And that God forbid i had a lose of income the bank doesn't come calling. Im still learning in dealing with the truck so i use the forums all the time. I also learning to be independent vs having a shop do it for me. I get a kick out doing all these simple little mods, and have been looking for more. The info about the light weight pulley is the kind if stuff I'm looking for. So with that said i installed an Airaid throttle body spacer today. Can notice a bit more torque from the pedal not much. Was it worth 120 bucks meeeehhhh probably not but had a blast tinkering being that i am unexperienced. In the end for me at least, its about making my truck my own and the journey doing it.
