Clean and Adjusting TPS?

    I haven't found a thread or right up on how you clean and adjust the TPS. I would love to know how this is done.:D

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    I was always told its bad to try and clean it. I think Tacomaman (Will) cleaned his without issue, thouhg. Check with him.

    I cleaned mine. Electronic cleaner stuff I got at Napa worked well.

    thats great to know. Will TB cleaner or MAF cleaner work?
    What about adjusting it? making sure you put it back right?

    really, I thought I heard that they were.
    Maybe on certain models?

    I just dont want to pull it out, clean it and then put it back in wrong. But if it isnt adjustable then I wont have to worry about that, which would be great!

    here we go. Ford 9" rear after breaking 5 sets of gears in the stock yota 8.8, 5.13 gears with a detroit hard locker, 63" chevy leafs and custom hangers, sky's front spring hanger with sky's extream hysteer and PSC hydro assist ram and PSC pump. welded front spyders in the f-550 front dana 60 with warn hubs, pico brake lines and hoses, elecrtic fan, TRD supercharger with URD 2.1 Pully, URD Map-ECU2 and cage built by me. wide band a/f by inovations, lots and lots more...........
    i took mine apart and cleaned the board with a rag its got little tiny fingers on it but on the 02's you have to brake the plastic case that holds it together to open it... havent drivin the truck yet to see if it was fixed my ecu2 shows it not jumping around too much like it was at idle so i dont know yet ill let you guys know when i know

    OK! bring this baby back from the dead!!!!!

    My 2.7 has a rough idle at 700 RPM's. I sit in traffic and at times it smooths out but the tach never moves. Most of the time when I press the gas to leave the light it seems to die momentarily.
    I have new plugs, filters, cleaned the T/B and inlet but still continues. So this is my next step, TPS!
    Has replacing or cleaning fixed this with anyone?
