what kind of power are you guys making stock vs. after mods on your 05-07 taco...and what mods do you have?

i have a 5cyl colorado. stock 220crank and after cat-back, mainfold gutted out, custom CAI, and a custom tuned PCM (computer/ecu w.e you guys call it on the tacos) i should have a minimum of 270crank and prob about 200-210 at the wheels. jsut curious about the 2nd generation tacomas....

and also what kind of 1/4 mile times are you getting with the engine/mods youve got?

they have 200-210 to the wheels stock. Modded N/A makes somewhere between 230-260 to the wheels. Supercharged is around 300-315 to the wheels

hmm. thats not bad at all. im wondering what to expect on a test drive. after all the mods my truck should dyno around 200-210 at the wheels so hmm...sounds like you guys dont lose much power from crank to wheel which is obv sick. thanks for the response.

One reason i use to love my beamer was because of its efficiency. American cars are much more notorious for loosing more power by the time it hits the wheels than foreign cars. I know toyotas are the same way (at least the Supras are that way, they lose very little percentage of their power through the drivetrain) These are fairly quick trucks. you dont want to take it to your local drag strip without modding the hell out of it but your not gonna be lacking power around the city or on the highway
