    Thanks, will check for mounting etc tomorrow, buy better hose then build a bracket. Have lath and mill at work and a good machinist. Just gotta find the right spot. Not as nice as yours Torspd, your engine bay looks awesome.

    Lord H don't know, he ain't got a S/C. I figured I wouldn't use the breather, our PVC loop is under vacuum, not like a non S/C engine.

    Thanks for the compliments, but those aren't my engine bay pics. Mine looks just a weeeee different.

    Now, as far as the similarities between the vacuum on the N/A and TRD S/C, they both suck the same. Literally. You cannot use a breather unless you separate the PCV system from the intake. Or a huge vacuum leak will be created.

    I installed my can, WD-2 no vent breather since I have the SC, no major issues yet, not much miles. The far back in the corner behind the SC fitting came off easy and was easily reattached with new fuel grade hose. No CEL issues, checked connections every week while checking the SC cooling res (small leak) all is good.

    Making the custom mount to find a place was fun, but no worries. Not a lotta room in that engine compartment.

    This is what we accomplished on Lucario Runner's. Making the bracket, and making sure it cleared his OEM hood struts was the hardest part.

    His is setup like mine. Both covers feed into the can it vents to atmosphere. The intake manifold's port was capped, as well as the port on the intake tube.

    Buying/bought a used occ of a member here on tw. Waiting for it to be shipped. Hopefully ill have it this coming week. All that aside, its going into a 04 prerunner dc v6, with 166k. GOD I WISH I KNEW ABOUT THESE 11 YEARS AGO! :frusty: I only saw one install pic on a 1st gen. Looked like a good place but i cant mount mine where he did cause of all the abs bs... Anybody with a 1st gen like me have some installed pics, im trying to get some ideas. Also, cant remember who, but someone put an inline filter on the return line. I like this idea. He used plastic and said it has warped a bit due to the heat. Whats to say you cant use one of those old school glass filters, as long as you mount it so the glass doesn't brake?? Hell of a thread, and write up, detective dan. Thanks!

    These AN fittings? We purchase them through www.Jegs.com or www.summitracing.com

    Lucario Runner ran -10AN to 1/2" NPT, on the can. The can's ports are 1/2"NPT.

    From the valve covers, we re-tapped the threads to 3/8"NPT, and used -10AN to 3 /8"NPT fittings. Then push lock fittings for the hose.

    I used -8AN.

    Got my catch can today. Went with ricer blue. Not sure it warrants ss lines...sure looks cool though. Is the consensus 3/8" or 7/16"?
