2014 Toyota Double Cab TRD Automatic: question about mpg

I am new to site and am not inclined mechanically....

What are the best modifications to increase mpg's ? Power? Both?
Intake? , Exhaust Sytem?, chips?

Any help will be appreciated.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Welcome to TW! The best mod for MPG, is your right foot. Most all intakes do nothing for power or MPG. A cat back exhaust might give a little hp (less than 8), but wont affect MPG. Drive the truck like a sports car, tow, off road, etc., and the MPG goes down. Drive it like your 80, and it goes up.

I tend to agree on driving habits. Generally when you purchase a pick-up you're not concerned about MPG. keep the right light bud

I drive like an old man with an egg under my foot... got 16.8mpg on my 35's last week on 300 mile road trip... keeping rpms under 2k is key
I would consider re gearing but not out for 2014 yet
